A recent study indicates that pale people tend to be Vitamin D deficient and that without supplements they’re unlikely to get their levels up without getting sunburned.  This can put them at risk for bone loss, heart disease, and poorer survival from breast cancer.

 

Vitamin D proves a wide range of benefits, from helping to maintain bone health to protecting against high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease.  Unfortunately, a whopping 30 – 50% of Americans suffer from Vitamin D deficiency!

 

A large new study shows that in people with low blood levels of vitamin D, boosting them with supplements more than halved a person’s risk of dying from any cause compared to someone who remained deficient.
